Rope Rescue

Rope rescue in the fire service is a specialized technical rescue discipline used to reach, stabilize, and extract victims from areas that are difficult or dangerous to access—like cliffs, high-rise buildings, trenches, towers, or confined spaces. It's all about height, depth, and steep terrain, and it requires precision, teamwork, and a deep understanding of rope systems. All Spanish Lake fire fighter are required to take a rope rescue techinican classes to be certified in rope rescue.
