Who we are
The Spanish Lake Fire Protection District protects 19 square miles of Northestern St. Louis County, Missouri. Our boards are 270 to the south, 367 to the west and the confluence of the Missouri River and the Mississippi River makes up our northeastern border which encompuses the Missour Bottmons Conservation area. There are roughly 19,000 residents within Spanish Lake Fire Protection District and and we receives approximately 2,600 calls for service annually. We are governed by three (3) elected officals. The Fire Chief oversees daily operations with the help of an administative assistant. We have fifteen (15) highly skilled firefighters and paramedics whos' primary responsibilities include fire protection, advanced life support, water rescues, vehicle rescues, and other technical rescue operations.

The Spanish Lake Fire Protection District is committed to providing the highest level of public safety services to our community. We protect lives and property through fire suppression, emergency medical services, water rescue, disaster services, fire prevention, and public education.
